April is a Licensed Social Worker and mental health therapist who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults. She brings extensive experience across outpatient, inpatient, medical, and telehealth settings, allowing her to thoughtfully tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and stage of life. Training

April holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. Her background includes both clinical practice and medical social work, giving her a well-rounded understanding of emotional, behavioral, and systemic challenges.

She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Informed Care.

Additionally, April has experience in clinical psychology research, which strengthens her ability to apply evidence-based strategies in thoughtful and effective ways. Her work focuses on building resilience, strengthening emotional regulation, and fostering long-term personal growth.

Areas of Expertise

April works with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and challenges related to emotional regulation. She supports individuals navigating parental mental health concerns, self-esteem struggles, stress, grief, and significant life transitions. April also has experience helping clients manage behavioral concerns and develop healthier coping strategies, empowering them to build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

In her spare time, April enjoys spending time with her family, reading, working out, and exploring her creative side. She values balance and self-care in her own life and encourages clients to cultivate the same.
